What are your
main responsibilities?
As an apprentice in Application Development/Coding, my job is all about programming, programming – and programming. Besides developing and implementing software solutions, I also find solutions for different issues. For example, I analyze and rectify coding errors and conduct tests. To keep an overview of all the different projects I’m working on, project management skills also play a major role in my day-to-day work. Fulfilling the tasks I’ve been assigned helps me acquire practical knowledge in a number of areas and gain a deep understanding of the entire software development process.
What kind of education, experience or interests should you have for your job?
During the application development apprenticeship, you learn all the skills you need for your career later on, so you don’t need any special previous knowledge or experience. However, it does help if you’re enthusiastic about technology. What’s important is that you enjoy learning and understanding new things.

Fun, varied, interesting.
What do you like most about your job?
What I like most are the diverse tasks and continuous developments in the field. I have the opportunity to immerse myself in a range of different topics and learn many new things. The purpose of my work is to work on and with the technology and to put my theoretical knowledge into practice.
