Management Team Expands at KNAPP Industry Solutions

In April 2025, KNAPP Industry Solutions, headquartered in Dobl, Austria, will strengthen their Management team. Vice Presidents Christian Brauneis and Stefan Lechner have been called to take up new duties as Managing Directors. They will complement the Management team currently comprised of Managing Directors Wolfgang Skrabitz and Bernhard Rottenbücher along with Management Board Member Birgit Sükar.

Two additional Managing Directors for KNAPP Industry Solutions

Christian Brauneis and Stefan Lechner will join the KNAPP Industry Solutions Management team in April 2025. Christian Brauneis will lead Sales and Customer Service, while Stefan Lechner will be responsible for Innovations and Operations. Both have been part of the KNAPP group for more than 20 years, and in their roles as Vice President, have contributed significantly to the success of the Industry Business Unit. “I am proud to be part of such a dedicated and experienced Management Team. Together, we will work to offer our customers innovative, customized solutions and to be the reliable partner at their side,” says Christian Brauneis about his new responsibilities as Managing Director.

Strong growth in recent years

Since its establishment in 2013, KNAPP Industry Solutions has continuously grown and today employs over 160 people, with a turnover of 44 million euros. The Dobl location has been expanded several times and recently moved into a new manufacturing and test hall with 5,000 m² floorspace (53,820 ft²). “I am excited to have this new opportunity as a Managing Director and to have earned the trust of the KNAPP group. With our many years of experience, we want to continue to promote the impressive growth of the Industry Business Unit,” emphasizes Stefan Lechner, Managing Director, KNAPP Industry Solutions.

Center of Excellence for Industry Solutions

Within the KNAPP group, the Industry Business Unit specializes in tailor-made solutions for production, manufacturing and distribution logistics, as well as in autonomous mobile robots. In Austria, the Dobl location is the center of solution development and implementation for these sectors. Their expertise lies in innovative, tailor-made automation concepts for manufacturers. Customers include renowned companies such as Knorr-Bremse, Würth, Terberg, Magna and Getriebebau NORD.
