The current situation demonstrates the important role that digitalization plays in every area of life. You can see this effect clearly when it comes to events: Congresses, seminars and workshops have been moved online. This year, the Leobener Logistik Sommer will also have a new format. The motto is “digital emergency”, with the event taking place on September 24, 2020, in a hybrid format: There will be a small live audience as well as a format for online participants. As a long-standing partner of the Leobener Logistik Sommer, KNAPP will again partake in the event.
Digitalization, the driving force
What opportunities and challenges come with digitalization during difficult times like these and what new developments emerge? What are the effects of digitalization on people? How can digitalization serve us in the different areas of our lives including work, communication and the daily grocery shopping?
This is exactly what will be talked about this year at the Leobener Logistik Sommer. Get a glimpse on how the COVID-19 crisis has been affecting all areas of life and what lessons we can learn from all of it.
Exciting program experiences transformation into the digital world
Whether company tour, workshop or lectures – with digital technologies, you can attend the Leobener Logistik Sommer this year and participate in an exciting and diverse program. This year’s company tour – held virtually, of course – provides a look behind the scenes at Pankl Racing Systems. Notable speakers from various areas will tell their success stories and how they used the crisis as an opportunity for their business and their projects. Workshops on the topics of the provision of the basic necessities, work, education and communication allow live interaction between the participants on site and the virtual audience.
Long-standing partnership with Leoben networking event
From the very start of the Leobener Logistik Sommer, KNAPP has been involved as a partner and will participate digitally this year as well. This includes the workshop “digital communication”, moderated by Katrin Pucher. As Vice President of the Integrated Management System and Corporate Responsibility and Communications at KNAPP, Katrin has gained valuable experience on what digital media can mean for internal communication. “Over the past months, my responsibilities focussed on crisis management and crisis communication at KNAPP. My workshop focusses on the internal channels of communication for businesses during crisis phases as well as the significance of authentic communication. I am certain that I will benefit from the personal and virtual dialog with the participants and that they will also be able to benefit from my experiences.”
Not only long-standing partners such as KNAPP have found a renewed interest in digitalization but also new businesses such as the digital platform DIGITAL2GO. This new partner offers turnkey products for getting started with digitalization. A modern digital portal, DIGITAL2GO immediately contributes to the digitalization strategies of companies – getting digital to make digitalization a reality.
