ElGiganten, the leading retailer of Electronics in the Nordics, awarded KNAPP with a contract exceeding the value of 30 million Euro. Content is the logistic infrastructure of the DC at Jönköping, Sweden, with the main components being an OSR ShuttleTM as well as a highbay pallet warehouse. Reason for the investment is the transition of the DC from current fulfillment of mainly store orders to an omnichannel DC serving stores and e-commerce in parallel. Takeover by the customer is scheduled for September 2016.
