Fast delivery times or the e-commerce boom are just some of our customer’s concerns that we cater to. I make sure our customers get the ideal software solutions for their business. In workshops with colleagues from Sales and other departments, I work out suitable concepts for our customers and present the results in tailored specifications documents. During the planning phase, my role is a consultant for the customer. My goal is to understand the current processes and challenges and to define a solution that will be fit for the future. When planning is completed, I provide support where needed until the project is handed over to the customer. I have already worked on projects in many countries, traveling to Canada, France or Mexico to name just a few. 

In terms of professional qualifications, a degree in software or logistics would be ideal. During onboarding, employees then receive further training to obtain an in-depth understanding of all the logistics processes and system solutions. Employees who speak other languages will be able to use them when interacting with the customers. Aside from German and English, I’m also fluent in French, which is why I often work on projects in these countries. Software Engineers are communicative people who enjoy working with customers and are willing to travel. What I personally consider important being willing to learn new things and being proactive with respect to the challenges.
