KNAPP Deutschland GmbH has been the KNAPP AG’s sales and service subsidiary on the German market since 2007. The location in Heusenstamm, close to Frankfurt, boasts many years of experience, industry know-how and proximity to customers. With our competent Field Service technicians and Resident Engineers on site, we ensure high availability of our customers’ systems. Our service portfolio is complemented by life cycle management, retrofitting projects and digital service tools, enabling us to contribute to our customers’ success as a strong partner for the entire value chain.

KNAPP Deutschland GmbH develops tailored all-in-one logistics solutions for a range of different customers in healthcare, fashion, food retail, e-commerce, retail, wholesale and industry. Thanks to our in-depth knowledge and expertise, we help our customers successfully manage their day-to-day system operations.

History

2023
As of 2023, around 140 people are employed at KNAPP Deutschland GmbH. Our KNAPP Resident Engineer teams support and maintain 10 customer systems on site our Field Service technicians are deployed at over 60 customer systems.
2022
In 2022, the company celebrated 15 years as a member of the KNAPP group. Thanks to strong growth, the company was expanded to feature more office space and meeting rooms.
2018
In 2018, KNAPP Deutschland GmbH employed over 100 people. KNAPP Deutschland GmbH saw enormous growth, particularly in customer service. Resident Engineers began supporting their first customer systems.
2009
Since 2009, KNAPP has also exhibited at the BVL International Supply Chain Conference in Berlin and LogiMAT – the most important logistics trade fairs in Europe. In the same year, the company pulled in their first major order from one of the largest online retailers in Germany. The system built for the customer was the largest shuttle warehouse at the time and was implemented in a record 15 months. Other projects soon followed for well-known customers in all sectors.
2008
Since 2008, KNAPP Germany has provided customer service. Thanks to competent field service, the company has developed very close relationships with customers.
2007
KNAPP Deutschland GmbH was founded in 2007 as a 100 % subsidiary of the KNAPP AG. The site in Heusenstamm was chosen as the company location. Joachim Erhard has been Managing Director since 2007.
