KNAPP, the value chain tech partner for intelligent value chains, will present innovative robotics for automation and digitalization at the LogiMAT 2023 trade fair. This year, stands B01 and B03 in Hall 3 are all about presenting the robotic warehouse and showing how customers can benefit from innovative zero-touch fulfillment strategies.
Increasing cost pressure, lack of space and personnel shortages are currently the biggest challenges in logistics. The key to solving these issues is intelligent robotics. KNAPP’s innovative robot solutions help lower costs in logistics processes while increasing shipping capacity. KNAPP calls this new, future-proof approach zero-touch fulfillment.
The goal of zero-touch fulfillment is to increase the degree of automation while minimizing the number of manual work steps, allowing employees to work efficiently and be relieved from physically demanding and repetitive tasks. At LogiMAT in Stuttgart, Germany, KNAPP will present technologies that help customers meet these goals.
Mission: Zero Touch
Get to know the following automation solutions up close and personal at the KNAPP stands B01/B03 in Hall 3: Pick-it-Easy Robot, the fully automatic picking robot; Open Shuttles, the autonomous mobile robots for warehouse-internal transport; INDU-Store for space-saving storage and picking of small and very small parts; plus digital solutions for recording and managing master data.
Series of talks on the KNAPP software portfolio
Software is the integrated intelligence that is part and parcel of the value chain and, naturally, a major focus at KNAPP. KNAPP software experts will be giving a series of talks providing an in-depth look into the KiSoft and SAP® EWM by KNAPP software portfolios and will be available in person to answer your questions.

The Open Shuttle autonomous mobile robots communicate using swarm intelligence and take care of a multitude of warehouse-internal transport tasks: transport from goods-in to the storage system, cross docking and supplying work stations. The Open Shuttle Fork handles pallet transport flexibly, automatically and without using much space, and is therefore a key element in the robotic warehouse. © KNAPP/ Niederwieser

The software tool, KiSoft Genomix, digitizes all the relevant article attributes: weight, dimensions, packaging type, contents, centre of gravity, tipping tendency and much more. This type of information is critical for smooth operation in the robotic warehouse and is what a robotic system needs to precisely process and handle various types of items.
